11月9日(月)にさくらWORKS＜関内＞でアムステルダムの夜の市長・Mirik Milanさんをお招きしたトークナイトを開催します！

■常に新しいことが起きる街「アムステルダム」

世界DJ収入ランキングのトップをオランダ人が占めることが証明するように、イベントインダストリーが急成長産業のアムステルダム。ここには、わが国の「クラブ規制撤廃」と「ＩＲ（統合リゾート）」時代以降の未来が実現しています。そして、この分野の夜の市政をコミュニティからボトムアップする、世界唯一の「夜の市長」が存在します。

今回、アムステルダム市長による日本プロモーションツアーにあわせて来日する「夜の市長」のマリク・ミランさんを、特別に横浜のボトムアップなコミュニティに招き、クリエイティブで成長を続けるアムステルダム、その原動力として活躍する「夜の市長」の取り組みを直接うかがいます。まさに「創造都市」横浜の次の一手はアムステルダムにあり、その智慧と実践のポップなリーダーから直接話がうかがえます。

聞き手は、ボトムアップによるクリエイティブシティづくりによるイノベーションに精通し、創造産業分野においてはじめて東京藝術大学より博士号を取得した、自身も全国で実践を続けているクリエイティブプロデューサーの岡田智博（横浜コミュニティデザイン・ラボ「遊軍」理事）です。

本プログラムは、講師は英語にて話しますが、遂次訳をご用意します。また、岡田氏を含め、英語ができる参加者を通じてコミュニケーションもはかれます。

■「夜の市長」のストーリー

2000年代はじめアムステルダムは、はじめてその自らが誇るクリエイティブな成長に影を落としました。理由は、欧州中が「クリエイティブシティ」になってしまい、アムステルダムのユニークさが無くなってしまったからでした。

市民の街アムステルダムは、困難の直面したとき、16世紀、独立のために蜂起したときと同じように、街中の人々が集まりオープンに議論して、解決策を自ら編み出し、行動に移します。この難局にも、人々は集まり、そこから編み出されたのが、住民・移民／投資・観光の三位一体となったシビックプライド事業「I AMSTERDAM」でした。市民のアイディアが都市のマーケティングにつながり、改めてイベント産業が成長し、イノベーションが起こり続け、世界中から人と投資が集まる街へとバージョンアップを果たしたのです。

この流れの中で生まれたのが「夜の市長」、夜、アムステルダムでは文化が生まれ、イノベーションが起こっているのに、市役所は18時で終わる。その後の街をどうするのか？
そういう、ユニークだけど真面目な運動から生まれました。

４代目のマリク・ミラン「夜の」市長は、はじめて投票で選ばれた「民選」夜の市長。現在、市長室所属で「夜の文化」の調整にあたっています。ミラン市政で獲得した成果は、24時間クラブ（踊る）ライセンスの実現。より一層、エッヂの効いた文化とそこから生まれる産業の原動力の整備を果たしたのです。

ロイヤルダッチシェルの旧本社ビルを、世界的なフェスオペレーターが本社として買収、EDMビルとしてリノベーションが起こる裏の土地で、3Dプリンタの家づくりが行なわれる、次の「創造都市」アムステルダム。「ナショナルアートパーク」から「IR」へと変貌、いやがうえにも次の創造都市にならないといけない横浜とっては、たくさんの学びがある都市です。

Mirik Milan
Mirik Milan is an experienced producer. Throughout the years he has been busy organizing parties, fashion shows and cultural events. As a promoter he travelled all over Europe, the United States and Asia in order to check out the latest and hottest trends in music and party events. Thanks to his years of technical experience he knows exactly how to process the trends he spots in society into attainable ideas, and how to bring together the right professionals in order to execute these ideas successfully. Fashion show or photo shoot, contemporary art festival or block party, he can do it all. Companies he has worked for recently are Meubel Stukken, VICE, DIESEL, Jameson, Aids Fonds, and the City of Amsterdam.
Mirik Milan is based in Amsterdam, in the midst of a network full of creative people and companies. Spotting trends and new developments is one of his key talents. He loves to bring together different relevant elements of today’s culture into a suitable and contemporary concept.
Since 2012 Mirik Milan is the Night Mayor of Amsterdam. The Night-Mayor is an independent non-profit organisation dedicated to ensure a dynamic nightlife and helps to build bridges between the municipality, (small) business owners and residents. By creating a mutual understanding, the Night-Mayor changes the game. As the Night Mayor Mirik is a spokesman for all things concerning nightlife in the Dutch capital. Amsterdam is a city of innovation. The introduction of 24-hour permits in the Hotel and Catering Industry in 2013 marked a major change. The Night-Mayor was actively involved in introducing these licenses. It was a significant moment for the city of Amsterdam.
